Nestor Miranda cigars are good smokes, especially for the money. I am partial to the Special Selection in the the Gordito and Gordito Torpedo sizes. I also enjoy the Art Deco and 1989 blends, which I believe are also produced by DPG. The 1989 really surprised me, as it is supposed to be a value cigar. The burn was spot on with nice flavor. I did not care, however, for the Dominicano line.

This is an excellent smoke. It had tons of flavor and produced a nice thick smoke. Thumbs up from Toledo!!!Try one and you’ll be hooked.

I really prefer a little larger smoke than a lancero… But I’m a big guy, and a lancero seems a little tiny to me… A regular corona almost seems too small sometimes. Butt I do agree. The flavor profile is much diffferent in a lancero. Less filler to wrapper ratio.

This is the only size we’ve had; will definitely check out the Lancero. Cigar Monster had a deal on the Lanceros last week…shoulda coulda!

I just like the name “Nestor Miranda” (plus he seems like a great guy).

Nestor was a great general in the Trojan war; Miranda was Prospero’s daughter in Billy Shakes’, The Tempest. Good combo!

Nice review. I have to agree, I tend to like these also! I have found that long lancero is a nice smoke with tons of flavor! You should give it a try sometime.
