Toast of the Week (1/5/09)
Happy New Year! This is our first Toast of the New Year and we hope everyone is ready to get off to a great start in 2010! We are excited about meeting new people and about all the great new smokes that will debut this year. So, let’s welcome the New Year by taking a look at what some of our brothers and sisters have to say!
- Tom over at Keepers of the Flame offers his best smokes of 2009. Two Fuente’s make the list–what else makes the short list? Toast it here.
- Denis from The Cigar Inspector offers a guest review of perhaps the most hyped cigar of the year, the Tatuaje Drac. Overrated? A great introduction is provided, detailing some of the problems smokers had with this stick. Toast it here.

I don’t agree with all the hype on Tatuaje… Good sticks, but not nearly what they’re rated… Although the best cigar in the world, is the one you like, so to each their own…
I love the Toast of the Week section: good stuff!
Some Tats are better’n others, but all are mighty fine (in my limited experience)
I like seeing what the other blogs are saying.

Haven’t had any of the ‘new’ smokes to comment, so I can’t tell you if a Tat or My Father are best.
