Toast of the Week (7/20/10)

Moving through the summer months, school will be starting back up pretty soon and before you know it we’ll be enjoying the Fall weather. As IPCPR approaches in a few weeks, there is a great deal of anticipation about the new cigars that will be displayed – always a special time of year for cigar smokers.

There seemed to be a press release every other day this week, with Torano reclaiming their distribution rights and renaming their company and General Cigar won a long court battle over the use of the Cohiba name – there was also news from Camacho and Ashton. A busy week!

We’ve got some great toasts for you this week, so check them out.

  • Jerry from Stogie Review toured the CAO Headquarters for a recent event and provided some behind the scenes video. Toast it here.
  • Dave from Tiki Bar was also in attendance at the CAO event and he provided a nice recap. Toast it here.
  • It’s been a while since I reminded everyone about one of my favorite websites, Cigar Stash – there is a searchable database that provides the cheapest online prices for cigars; there is also a feed for some of the major cigar blogs. Toast it here.
  • Barry from A Cigar Smoker and Adam from Fire up that Cigar both take on the Rocky Patel 15th Anniversary. Toast it here and here.
  • Cigar Jack takes on the yet to be released CAO La Traviata Maduro. Toast it here.
