We’ll take the Top 3 requested cigars and start a contest to give a box of each cigar away. The contest with the selected cigars will begin next Monday.

Information on each cigar (view all of General’s brands here):

Cohiba XV: The most distinctive leaf of a COHIBA XV cigar is its sun-grown Sumatra wrapper from Ecuador. Harvested only from the tops of the tobacco plants, each of these wrapper leaves is aged in tercio for three years. The flavor is then enhanced by aging all of the leaves again for six months in crates of fragrant cedar. In crafting COHIBA XV cigars, the most flavorful Nicaraguan Ligero and Dominican Piloto Cubano Ligero are bound with the richest three-year-old Connecticut Broadleaf. The result is a cigar that is made, not only to please, but also to impress.

Don Tomas Cameroon: The Don Tomás Cameroon Collection is available in seven shapes, four of which are perfectos. The perfecto cigar is a work of art and can only be hand-rolled by the most accomplished craftsman. All of the tobaccos in this line of cigars have been aged for a minimum of three years.

Hoyo de Monterrey Reposado en Cedros: After being masterfully handcrafted by Honduran artisans, each Hoyo de Monterrey Reposado en Cedros cigar undergoes the Inmersión™ process and is left to rest for an extended period of time. Enveloped in fragrant cedar, the cigar matures to a complex, medium-bodied smoke with a uniquely spicy, rich taste.

La Gloria Cubana Artesanos de Tabaqueros: Meticulously handcrafted of a proprietary Nicaraguan and Dominican blend, Artesanos de Tabaqueros is bound with a rich Ecuadoran Sumatra leaf and is dressed in an elegant, reddish Nicaraguan Havana wrapper. To add to its exclusivity, master rollers produce the sizes previously not offered in any of the La Gloria Cubana brands.

La Gloria Cubana Serie N: Through artisanal blending and by employing specific frontmarks to maximize the unique flavor, this stimulating, full-bodied offering is punctuated by spicy notes and balanced to reveal a refined smoke. La Gloria Cubana Serie N is sure to capture the attention of tenured smokers, for its fire-engine red, hexagonal wooden box, replete with a gold Serie N logo, opens to reveal an eye-catching angular configuration of 24 of the handcrafted cigars.

Macanudo 1968: This cigar boasts a bold new taste that perfectly balances the cigar’s fuller-bodied tobaccos. Aged in tercios and charcoaled wooden barrels to further enrich its flavor, the blend marries Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco to a proprietary filler cultivated exclusively for General Cigar in the remote island of Ometepe. These tobaccos were developed expressly to complement the Connecticut Habano binder and flawless Honduran San Agustin wrapper.

Macanudo Cru Royale: Dressed in Ecuadoran Habano and bound with a proprietary Dominican “La Vega Especial” leaf, Macanudo Crü Royale is the result of masterful blending by the legendary Benji Menendez. The Dominican and Nicaraguan viso leaves mingle with Brazilian Mata Fina to invoke an aromatic smoke that opens with complex flavor and rewards the smoker with a long, clean finish.

Partagas Limited Reserve Decadas: Filled with a blend of proprietary tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and from the remote Nicaraguan island of Ometepe, and bound with fine Honduran San Agustin leaf, Partagas Limited Reserve Decadas cigars are dressed in flawless, ten-year-old Cameroon wrapper before undergoing a rigorous aging process in rooms crafted exclusively of fragrant Spanish cedar.

Punch Uppercut: Dressed in a silky Ecuadoran Sumatra wrapper and framed with a Nicaraguan binder, Upper Cut’s Nicaraguan blend commands attention, for it features the unique flavor of Ometepe tobacco cultivated exclusively for General Cigar in limited quantity.

Sancho Panza Extra Fuerte: The name Sancho Panza Extra Fuerte says it all. The cigar is a prime example of the full-bodied flavor and long finish that is characteristic of its Honduran sun-grown Havana seed wrapper. This dark, reddish-brown wrapper is naturally aged and fermented to ensure its full flavor. The all-Honduran binder and a spicy blend of Honduran filler tobaccos deliver an even more robust and flavorful taste to the Sancho Panza line.
