Toast of the Week (3/15/11)

Toast of the Week (3/15/11)

First off, I’d like to thank everyone who entered our recent contest with cigar artist Mike Uhren – our winner was Frank (tx_tuff), and he selected the Padron Anniversary print – congrats Frank! And thanks to Mike for kindly donating his work for the contest – we had a blast with it.

Before we get into the toasts, I received an email today from the folks at EP Carrillo that mentioned two new blends that are forthcoming, so I thought I’d share a bit of the details here:

The E.P. Carrillo Elencos Series will have the same exact blend as the E.P. Carrillo Edición Limitada 2010 Elencos and will be available in 3 sizes, ranging in price from $9.5-12.5. The second smoke is The E.P. Carrillo New Wave Connecticut Edition, which is covered with an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper – the smoke is creamy with hints of spice that develop to show rich nutty and sweet flavors. This one is available in 4 sizes, ranging in price from $4.5-7.

Now, on to the toasts:

  • Barry at A Cigar Smoker takes on the Quesada Espana. Toast it here.
  • Stogie Guys give the Tatuaje Barclay Rex 100th Anniversary a perfect score. Toast it here.
  • Stogie Review smokes the Man O’ War Puro Authentico. Toast it here.
