Ashton Symmetry Cigar
Cigar Review: Ashton Symmetry Sublime

It seems like late Ashton has spent most of its time and money on their brands from Don Pepín Garcia (San Cristobal and La Aroma de Cuba), and they've not released a new Ashton branded cigar in nearly ten years. When the Ashton Symmetry debuted at the IPCPR in 2014, it quickly became a one of the most eagerly awaited cigars of the year. The Symmetry was a collaboration with the Fuente factory. Ashton fans expecting another ESG may not find what they’re looking for in the Symmetry, but the cigar is still a very good cigar and a nice addition to the Ashton brand.

MBombay Mora
Cigar Review: MBombay Mora (all vitolas)

Rarely do we ever review the same blend in multiple vitolas, unless there is something that warrants a later review of a different size. Yet, the MBombay Mora is such a wonderful cigar, that when Mel Shah of Bombay Tobak gave us the opportunity to try the entire MBombay line, it was readily apparent that this was a cigar of such complexity and quality that it deserved a little special treatment. So, for the first time ever we are reviewing each vitola in the line.

Drew Estate Pope of Greenwich Village Cigar a Smoke Inn Microblend
Cigar Review: Drew Estate Pope of Greenwich Village (Smoke Inn Microblend)

Smoke Inn’s latest Microblend is coming to shelves soon, and we were given the chance to try it a bit early. Like all of recent releases in the Microblend series, and (for that matter) all recent Drew Estate releases, it is a cigar that is going to be much talked about and sought after by cigar enthusiasts. When questioned about the new release, Abe Dababneh of Smoke Inn Cigars stated, “I’m very excited to have my friends at Drew Estate joining us in Smoke Inn’s Microblend Series..."

Cubanacan Habano Rothchilds Cigar
Cigar Review: Cubanacan Habano Rothchilds

Cubanacan is still a relatively new boutique company, but is fast gaining traction with serious cigar enthusiasts. In 2006, the company began growing their own tobacco in Esteli and Jalapa, Nicaragua. Not long after, the founded their factory with just five pairs of rollers. Cubanacan means “where fertile land is abundant” and it is from the fertile Nicaraguan soil that some of Cubanacan’s tobacco gains their signature flavor. With the Cubanacan Habano Rothchilds, the company has managed to produce a complex medium bodied cigar at a very reasonable price.

Quesada Selección Espana H-Town Lancero from Stogies of Houston
Cigar Review: Quesada Selección España H-Town Lancero

Any fan of the lancero vitola has probably heard of the H-Town Lancero Series from Stogies World Class Cigars (especially if they are regular readers of ToastedFoot). Stogies’ owner Jorge Ahued is one of the biggest devotees to the lancero vitola, and has a series of exclusive lanceros that can’t be found anywhere else. The fourth installment in the H-Town Lancero Series is the Quesada Selección España, and it is a very impressive cigar.
