Cigar Review: Las Calaveras Edición Limitada 2016 by Crowned Heads

Once again Crowned Heads has released their annual Las Calaveras cigar, and once again it is a very good tasty cigar made at My Father Cigars’ Nicaraguan factory. Coming in three vitolas, only 4,500 boxes of the Las Calaveras Edición Limitada 2016 will be made.

Since Davidoff’s rebranding of the Camacho line, the company has focused on fuller, stronger powerful cigars. With their “Board of the Bold” and “The Bold Standard”, the company has become the first stop for those looking for flavorful bold cigars. Their latest installment in the Master Built Series, the Cmacho Powerband fits into the category of flavorful, bold and full bodied category of cigars. Claiming to draw inspiration from the “power, performance, and acceleration associated with the classic V-twin engine”, the Powerband is an impressive full bodied cigar.

Daddy Mac Cigar by Cornelius & Anthony
Cigar Review: Daddy Mac by Cornelius & Anthony

The release of the Cornelius by Cornelius & Anthony Cigars was an extremely impressive cigar made at Miami’s El Titan de Bronze. How do they follow that impressive first cigar? By releasing a high quality cigar from one of Estelí’s hottest factories, Erik Espinosa’s La Zona Factory. Named for owner Steven Bailey’s father Mac, is yet another stellar cigar from the La Zona Factory, and should only cement Cornelius & Anthony as a boutique brand to watch.
