Laranja Reserva by Espinosa Cigars
Cigar Review: Laranja Reserva by Espinosa Cigars

Erik Espinosa has been making cigars for some time now, but outside of Florida his cigars haven’t caught on the way they should. The new Laranja should change all that. It is a cigar with a lot going for it. With a it’s full flavor and medium body, the Laranja is a cigar that is sure to win over cigar enthusiasts to the Espinosa brand. This is definitely Erik’s best cigar release to date.

Viaje Double Edged Sword II Cigar
Cigar Review: Viaje Double Edged Sword II

The Viaje Exclusivo 2013 Double Edged Sword II is a cigar made for collectors. The cigars are packaged in a beautiful ceramic jar, much like some Cubans or the Byron. With a limited production of 700 jars of 19 cigars, the Double Edged Sword II is a cigar sure to be hard to find. It is a great looking cigar that should please Viaje's rabid fans. The Double Edged Sword II is a medium-full bodied cigar with a mix cinnamon, coffee and leather flavors. It may not be the greatest cigar that Viaje has ever released, but it is worth trying for those who enjoy Viaje's cigars.

Davidoff Nicaragua Cigar
Cigar Review: Nestor Miranda Collection Connecticut

This year has seen a major rebranding effort at Miami Cigar and Company to celebrate their 25th anniversary. The Nestor Miranda Collection is taking the place of the old Special Selection line. It’s being released in a Habano, a Connecticut and a Maduro that are all made by My Father Cigars in Esteli, Nicaragua. The full flavored Connecticut blend really stands out due to it’s incredible mix of flavors. The Nestor Miranda Collection Connecticut is one the most complex Connecticut cigars on the market right now.

Headley Grange Laguito No. 6 Cigar by Crowned Heads
Cigar Review: Headley Grange Laguito No 6 by Crowned Heads

Normally, Willy and I do not review the same cigar in different sizes because it would just become a bit redundant. (Willy generally picks sizes that appeal to him personally. I try to try a bunch of sizes and pick the one that best fits that cigar blend.) However, when a friend that works at my local cigar shop gave me the new Headley Grange Laguito it was too good not to share with our readers.

Alec Bradley Nica Puro H-Town Lancero for Stogies of Houston
Cigar Review: Alec Bradley Nica Puro H-Town Lancero

Jorge Ahued, proprietor of Stogies World Class Cigars in Houston, has long been known as a fan of lancero cigars. Few shops have such an extensive lancero collection, so it only makes sense that Stogies has developed a line of exclusive H-Town lancero cigars with various manufacturers. The other day Jorge told me that, “when it’s all said and done there will be ten different H-Town lanceros”. The latest addition to the H-Town series is an Alec Bradley Nica Puro that was made by the Plasencia family.
